Steve Bannon and Elon Musk doing the Nazi salute. (In German it is called Hiltergruß/greetings from Hitler)
The AfD in Germany says Hitler was a communist. Which is insane. Communists were killed in concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
On Joe Rogan there was Derril Cooper a self-proclaimed historian claiming WInston Churchil would have beeen the chief villain in WW2.
Or Nick Fuentes with Kanye West arguing on Alex John's show how based Hitler was.

Disgusting.

I find it ever more difficult to tell the difference between the actions of extreme right and extreme left dictators. "Uncle Joe" Stalin could have given lessons in murdering your population to Hitler or Pol Pot.
A plague on all their diseased houses.

The winner can do what he wants, he writes his history. That's the main difference between Hitler on the one side and Stalin and Mao on the other side.

The old adage about "those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it" doesn't completely hold water with human nature. All too often, people (especially those in power) study history and instead of drawing the conclusion that a thing was horrible, they decide they could do it better without the mistakes.

If you wanted to talk about some of the technical efficiencies and advances under Hitler in Germany, you could do that... Volkswagen and their atomic bomb and missile tech were good and ahead of many other nations at the time. But was that because of Hitler OR in spite of him? You'd have to really dig in... there's no mistaking, or at least there shouldn't be, that he was a sad and horrible man who abused his power to enable or direct bad things that no one should want to see again.

But, most people suck. Society is a very thin veil. "The Purge" was fictional hollywood entertainment, but it isn't as far from the truth of human nature as we'd like to believe. Sadly, the movie "Idiocracy" also was way closer to current truth than anyone ever thought it would be. It's kind of a race to the bottom between evil and stupid really. We have to hope stupid wins because we have a chance with stupid. Evil would be far worse.

I don't know, but I do know that if Hitler had a grave, he would turn in his grave so hard after hearing that he was a communist that he would provide the world with free energy for at least a thousand years.

Evel and intelligent people, like psychophats know their limits and accept them. This way evel is limited whilst stupidity has no limits.
Hitler was first of all stupid.

Hitler was first of all stupid.
Intelligent/evil people have a plan and a purpose and the means to accomplish it and ways to course-correct when things go wrong for them. Stupid people blindly stumble around and sometimes accidentally accomplish something.

I'd much rather be up against stupid than evil. I have a chance against stupid. I have no chance against intelligent evil.
