Negative utilitarianism says the primary moral goal is reducing suffering rather than increasing happiness. Regular utilitarianism tries to maximize overall well-being, but negative utilitarianism focuses specifically on minimizing pain and suffering across all beings. Some extreme versions argue it's better for nothing to exist than for suffering to exist. It's basically "preventing bad is more important than creating good." Your situation isn't really about moral philosophy though - it's personal exhaustion
