are there any buddhists here? what does buddhism say about suicide

I firmly believe in the supernatural phenomena but I am trying to find what religion is true

I resonate with Buddhist philosophy but consider myself a spiritual eclectic. My understanding is that some sects of Buddhism say that suicide will lead to a 'bad' reincarnation due to bad karma from a suicide, but this also depends on the other actions in your life. I don't think that the Buddha knew everything and he made it clear that he didn't know everything. Still, I think it's reasonable to consider what bad karma your suicide could create, if that's something that is important to you.
