I've already called and spoke with the owner of the company. They said they absolutely check to see if the billing and shipping address is different. Especially when ordering Nitrite because they have had several college kids use their product. The people who have different mailing and billing addresses are the ones that they usually call. Yes they do do a background check in terms of checking social media to make sure that they aren't selling to college kids or selling to kids. This is why several people's orders have been canceled by them and the customer has no idea why. I spoke with the owner of DD and I know for a fact that this company does so or I wouldn't be wasting my time typing these comments. Yes they absolutely do call some of their customers there have been several people on the forum that have already mentioned it.
Maybe with other companies they don't care but with this specific company they absolutely do care as they have had many families call them complaining that their loved ones used their product to take their life.
I am very familiar with DD. I have ordered from them quite a bit over the years. First of all, the owner of DD is a man, not a woman. SN is legal and not regulated in the US. The company's hands aren't tied. No one is forcing them to sell SN or any other chemical if they don't want to. They choose to sell it. The company can always make a business decision to restrict it and not sell it to private addresses, or they can stop selling it altogether if they want. They haven't chosen to do this.
The company isn't wasting their time searching people's social media to find out how old they are. They don't have to. Businesses can already digitally verify someone's age if they want to. They already do this when they sell alcohol or tabacco products in order to make sure that minors aren't buying it. They have you upload a copy of your driver's licence and then verify your age and that the name on your id matches the name on the credit card. This is easier and more accurate than looking at someone's social media to verify age.
DD doesn't ask customers to verify their age before they buy something. They have never asked me how old I am. People in college are adults not children, and they can buy any legal product they want just like anyone else can.
It isn't suspicious if someone has a different billing and shipping address. . People use separate billing and shipping address all the time. That is why companies ask for both. They ask for the billing address, so they know where to send the bill. Someone doesn't always have their order sent to the billing address. They can have a valid reason to send it to another address such as they are ordering a gift for someone, they don't live at the same address the entire year, they are traveling and need to order something, etc. It doesn't raise a red flag for a company. They will ship your order to any address you want as long as you pay for it.
The company doesn't have a policy where they call their customers and ask them why they are buying the product. I have ordered from them, and they have never called me or cancelled my order. If they randomly call, you can tell them you cure meat or make beef jerky. They don't have any reason to doubt you since most people use it for this reason. The company isn't going to question you in depth or look on your social media to see if it's true. They are a business looking to make a profit like any other.
No company is going to tell a customer that calls them that they are using a customer's social media to spy on them even if it was true. It would be an invasion of privacy and would ruin the company's reputation. A company would never tell someone who called them that they know that some of their customers died because they intentionally misused their product, and that their hands are tied and they can't do anything about it so they have to keep selling it. They would be admitting liability and could be sued if it could be proved that they said this.
