What’s the point in living if you can’t be alive

I had a dream about my deceased husband this morning, not sure how to feel. I knew he was upset with me even tho everyone tells me he loves me and wants to see me happy. But almost every dream I had of him was a little different not all pleasant. How do I interpret that or is it just my subconscious mind thinking and dreaming of him. But it was so vivid and the things i did and said I've been wanting to say to him since he passed. And I got the chance to this morning. I'm just ready to go be with him

I'm so sorry for the loss if your husband. I too lost my husband last year. I'm so sorry, it's so so difficult.
I too have had a lot of dreams about my husband. I think it's mainly our brains processing the loss. It's part of the grieving process I've been told. You may feel he was upset with you and are dreaming about it. I think guilt is part of the grieving process as well...we think about the past and go over regrets and such. We filter out anything that was good and focus on the negatives unfortunately.
I am here if you would like to PM me and talk. ❤

I often dream about people who used to be in my life, i think it's just my brain trying to process and cope with loss.

First, I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain.

Our dreams are not "real" as they are made from memories and the mindset we are in. I read a lot of scientific reviews about dreams as I'm very curious about it. For the same reason you wonder what your dream was about : sometimes it's so vivid you can't tell if it's real or not. When a dream is very strong and gives you the feeling that it was real, is because it's about an important subject for you. We don't know why we dream exactly but we know that those intense dreams are about something bothering us. Never analyze it like if it's real, like if it has a clear meaning and answers. It does not. It does never say what to do, how, or why. But it tells you it's a sensitive subject for you and you should work on it. Maybe with the help of a therapist, if you feel like it.

You are maybe afraid of having done something wrong with your husband, and of course, to make him feel bad now he's gone. If it's what you think deep down, please remember you are a human being, and as every single one of us, you made mistakes in your life. Don't blame yourself too hard for that. I guess, reading your post, that you two really loved each other. This is what in my opinion you have to keep in mind. That love won't go away, it's the most beautiful thing in the world in my opinion even if it's hard to think about it without being very hurt.

I truly wish you the best, because I feel like you are a very kind person who deserves the best.

Depends on the person you ask. Spiritualists may go for it having some innate significance or meaning, some may recognize that it's an amalgamation of subconscious thoughts, etc. I haven't done research regarding it, but it seems to be your mind manifesting or enacting its thoughts or fantasies. However, some dreams may be purely coincidental. I personally have barely any dreams, or at least do not recall them due to their insignificance to me, and their often negative nature. Almost nothing "good" occurs in them, but that doesn't change anything for me. Others who have researched could probably give a more cognitive and/or scientific explanation. Good luck.

Been struggling with dreams myself lately, then waking up disheveled with anxiety..Lot of dreams about dead folk that I loved..The human mind is a mutha..Wish I could figure it out.

I dont feel so bad/rationalize it when I see my dog, barking and kicking her feet on the bed while sleeping. At least I know animals struggle with dreams too.

Often wonder what she is dreaming about that she is reacting so violently.Sometimes wish I can help her...Beside rattling her and waking her up.

Animals are just like us. After all, we are animals too. You'd be surprised how much we are closer to other species than we often think. You dog dreams about playing, mostly. When they move their legs fast it's because they dream they run. My baby dog (on my profile picture) past away recently. I never woke him up when he dreamed like that. When he was crying, I did. And I know on the look in his eyes that he was glad to see me.
Enjoy every minute you spend with your baby dog too. It's priceless, it's always too short.

Im sorry for the loss of your baby and companion..Ive lost'em too over the years and remember/treasure them all..Never gets easier..Just coming in from walking mine a lil while ago.

I wake mine up sometimes too, when she gets out of hand and starts yelping and crying in her dream. She always wags her tail and looks at me excited, like "thanks buddy..Glad it's you!"..She wakes ME up as well, when the sun peaks through to remind me I still have responsibilities and man up to face another day.

My girl kinda has similar colors to your baby in the pic. There is one of mine on my profile,I believe.
