Won't work. I tried Xanax and whole bottle of vodka. Just alot of puking. Hanging doent required much if you have nothing else

Barbiturates were replaced by benzos because the former could be lethal, benzos are not lethal unless mixed with certain things, alcohol isn't enough.

Been there, done that....60 pills of 10mg Diazepam, 1 bottle of vodka....nope, did not work, woke up next day in the afternoon with a massive hangover and was really pissed off !
