Help anyone here climbed a cell tower?

im trying to find a place tall enough to jump from but there isn't anywhere high enough or with open roofs in my area, so if im gonna jump i cant do it but from a cell tower. problem is im physically weak and i still haven't fully gotten over my SI, so me being able to climb all the way up seems unlikely. can anyone who climbed one tell me about it?

I've climbed a few, in an undisclosed European country, known for modern safety standards.
I've never seen any on-site surveillance.

The major challenge was a grating blocking the ascent, located several meters off the ground. High enough that you really don't want to fall, but not nearly high enough to be lethal. The details and difficulty differed between towers, but they all had some obstacle like that. I had to be somewhat athletic to circumvent those.
As a naturally decent climber it wasn't a huge problem, but I think one ought to comfortably be able to lift ones own body weight to attempt it.
After that it was just a long ladder, where one could stop and rest as needed.

In hindsight I'm a bit concerned about radiation. It's probably not healthy to sit in a live cell tower, long term.

All in all, those were good experiences. The height and the wind, makes for a somewhat scary experience. I'd personally be open to climb more towers - I like those kinds of adventures, but jumping would be way too scary.

I've climbed electrical towers before. It's very freeing, often a nice view. The wind would get strong and mess up my hair. I was completely unbothered by the world, and it seemed very small from the remote tower.
If you have high si, I wouldn't recommend jumping (or ctb in general, frankly) since the height is very daunting, and it is difficult to force yourself to jump.

I didn't know this was a thing people did, lol. Do not-suicidal people often do this for fun? :o

I could probably manage it, but I don't want to unless it's a definite method to CTB.

I wouldn't say that it is a common thing for non suicidal people to do, but it's not unheard of. It was fun. I was never planning to ctb when I did it

look into urbex influencers. they love climbing tall things (cell towers included)
