I get very upset if I see a photo of me or someone attempts to take a photo. I am disgusting, I have been like that since I was 10. Can't believe how ugly I am, it's unfair as my siblings are not. I avoid mirrors and any reflective surfaces as much as possible. Only go out at night so easier to hide face.

I hate the way I look, and seeing myself in photos has always made me feel shitty. I've never been attractive but aging, poor health and various medications have negatively affected my appearance even further. This is I actually very embarassing to admit but I haven't cleaned my bathroom mirror in literally YEARS (I'm not exaggerating or joking) because the buildup of toothpaste splatters obscures things to where at least I can handle 'seeing' myself.

Yep, always have and always will. It's not that I think I'm ugly or anything, I couldn't care less about this body I'm in, I just dont like pictures. Then people show you them later, and I have to realize that thing is me. Or others taking pictures with me is just uncomfortable. I really don't like pictures.

I dislike when people force me to "participate" in stupid group photo session during family gathering. I had to force myself to smile surrounded by people I dislike in order to uphold the status quo. I imagined if I had ton of money and wealth back then, I would just blatantly refuse my photo taken as rude as possible in front of them.

In Asian family, money is the king. The one with wealth is always treated with respect no matter how rude you act. The one without money, should not rock the boat or create a scene. Yes, everyone is materialistic here.

At work is just as bad, I get it when it's for security things like badges, but when they force you during R&R events, ugh.

So much so that i often have a beard which i dont like but cant bare to look in the mirror to shave until i cant stand it anymore . i dont min candid shots or side on but full face looking at the camera especial as in a group photo i hate and avoid like the plague

Yeah, I hate how I look so much, and I think my smile is beyond ugly. I can tolerate selfies I take myself, but if I'm forced to be in a group photo, or if someone else takes a photo of me, I immediately want to rip it and throw it away.

Never liked photos, and now I have extra weight which makes it worse. I try not to worry about it though. I think it's a bit sad how appearance is 1st priority to most people.
