Kinda get frustrated for talking in there as they always prevent you from doing what BPD do and get you banned. Although phrasing in this way kinda like how christian pointing finger at each other for not being a real christian.

Never been on anything of said nature, and yes, I have extreme BPD.

Also, I do NOT believe in organized religion, as it is all about money and power, NOT help each other. Knew too many "Christians" who had the express ticket to heaven in their viewpoint and would never ever help anyone out especially if it involved money.

When I saw them trying to get rid of people reliance on FP and live like a normie. It drives me nut on how they promote themselves as BPD supporting community, they seems to only allowing one voice, which is stopping you act like a BPD and become a psycho ex. It just raise me a question, are you really a BPD if you dont have FP and live like a normie?
When they talk about boundaries and healthy relationship and coerce people to do that, it is like doing an exorcism on me. It is disgusting, gross and humiliating. You want to give up your relationship, it is fine for you, but dont corrupt my relationship and give bad label. Why do I have to live in a world filled with so called healthy relationship and boundaries where I would rather die instead of fighting those "healthy" people in my rest of my life.

Look at how the normie hate us. Standing in this situation makes me think if we dont unite and fight with them. Who can help us to fight back? Those BPD normie have switched their side and help with our enemy. WTF?

Sorry- not to do with the community thread but, is BPD Bipolar or Borderline? I'm never sure.

Borderline disorder is a personality disorder (cluster B psychopaths), while bipolar disorder is a mood disorder. However, they can also coexist.

Thanks. Which does BPD stand for though? I think people use it for both sometimes. I'm guessing the thread relates to borderline though.

Borderline Disorder says the word itself. It is a disorder that is found halfway to the edge of the line. It is between a psychosis (but not being psychosis) and a neurosis (but not being neurosis). Borderline disorder is part of the cluster b psychopathic disorders (histrionic, narcissistic, antisocial, borderline). All three are neuroses, but borderline disorder is something different. Yes, even in diagnoses people are often wrong and treated poorly. It is not a typical mistake of ordinary people, even professionals are often incapable of helping these people. A bad therapist can cause a lot of damage.

I think the question is which is being referred to when people use the term BPD, which tbh l too would like an answer to, l already know the differences between the disorders and this is not what is being asked

Yes, that is what I was meaning to ask but, their definitions were still interesting. I think the answer is that people use it for both. I think a lot of people with bipolar refer to it as BPD but I think this thread refers to Borderline. Sorry to derail the thread OP.

I don't understand the question. Do you want to know what forum users mean when they write BPD? Better to ask them. That term means borderline personality disorder, then everyone can distort the meaning of the words as they see fit.

In which case why are you leaping in to incorrectly answer a question you didn't understand and why are you being sniffy about being asked to clarify

I answered the question in the post correctly. It was you who intervened saying that I misinterpreted the question. But if you don't know how to be clear in your personal statement on the subject, why do you intervene? The term BPD has a clear meaning and does not lend itself to interpretations of another tenor or color.

This thread is for borderline. Never heard people refer Bipolar as BPD, at least it makes no sense to me.

I am fed up with the 16-23ish year old community. This has got to be the shittiest, most useless generation to date, but act like they know everything.

Don't get me wrong. I was somewhat shitty when I was this age. Actually, I was really shitty. But no where near as shitty as this age group is now. My generation did a piss poor job of raising this one.

That's kinda hateful - I think the difference with this generation is how connected they are and how easy it is for shitty people to be heard. Other than that I don't think they're any better or worse than we were.

But I will say that they are the most hopeless generation so far. We left them very little to work with so it's no wonder they feel that way. For someone to have the same buying power I had working minimum wage in 1976 you'd have to make $28/hr now. Know anyone who makes that working basic jobs? It used to be that a family with one wage earner could own a house, a car and go on family vacations every year. Not any more. Now people live with their parents into their 30s because they can't afford a place to live. Doesn't do much for your self asteem. So you might want to cut these people a little slack.
