I remember having to put the book down halfway through when Hoeg wrote something along the lines of "...she knew the terrain as intuitively as a man knows his own testicles". Quite enjoyed the film though.

I'm pretty close (although different country) and have actually visited Tivoli (Copenhagen) and Legoland (Billund) when I was a kid. Plus I love Mew (the band)
