I've taken a break from this forum for a couple of weeks to try and get myself out of this hole. I failed and so here I am again. I have been looking through all the megathreads trying to make a concrete decision of what method to use and I think I am going to go with full suspension due to it's simplicity and effectiveness.

My question is,has anyone on here tried and failed at full suspension? If so how was the pain before your attempt failed. I am not huegly worried about the pain as once I am dead I wont be able to look back and remember how much it hurt but I am just looking for a rough idea of what to expect.

Anyone?

I'm sorry to hear you've failed. Did you end up in a hospital or something?
I haven't failed at full suspension but partial. My life was hell for 6 months after that.

I hope you can sort things out somehow. Feel free to talk to me.

Hugs

No not in hospital just trying everything I can to feel better but nothing is working and although I felt better for a couple of hours on a couple of days the darkness returned and I cant take any more of it.

I've tried to get the whole partial set up figured out but it just seems so easy to fail no matter what I try. Full seems to be a lot more fool proof,I have rope,I can tie knots,I life alone so there isnt really anything standing in my way but my own mind at the moment.

I have answered this in another thread more in depth but I've had a full suspension attempt (spoiler alert I failed). Tldr is that I stepped off from my bed, meaning there was a way to back out. SI kinda took over in my final moments of consciousness and I managed to free myself :( .

I'd say it was more uncomfortable than painful, I used a thick belt which probably helped in that department. I could breathe fine though, as fine as you expect in the circumstance. I felt a lot of pressure in my head which gradually got worse as seconds passed. Then my vision started going fuzzy and black at the edges. And yeah, that was pretty much it

Once you kick the chair, provided and your noose/support is perfect and that you have atleast 20-30 minutes without interruption, I'd wager the success rate to be 100%.

Hanging was never an option for me, but I'm starting to consider it given the guarantee. It may be painful though, but doesn't really matter in the end
