Near death experience: having an experience while possibly dead.

I think one guy on here saw himself as a child did a lengthy time after an experience. He relived memories of watching himself watch TV.

Anyone else?

I sort of prefer it this way. Death and I have a complicated relationship. Plus how do we know what people do "see" isn't like the brain starting to shut down so it makes stuff up or something like that, I can't exactly explain it but I'm basically getting at the point the brain can trick us when we're alive so why not in death as well. Maybe it's like a "parting video" or something

I had a weird dream where I dreamt I was still in the same bedroom and in the same bed I laid in (usually, at least in all the past dreams I dreamt I "travelled" to another space and time but this one was exceptional) and found that the light was accidentally turned on. Suddenly a black hole in rectangle shape appeared on the wall to my left. I tried to approach the black hole and felt hard to breathe and almost fainted. But then I was so frightened and eventually didn't walk to the hole (probably that was SI). Then I woke up and found that the light was indeed on. I could imagine that if I really walked to the black hole and absorbed into it, then in reality I might have died because of apnea.

I had one when i od on drugs a couple of years ago. I must say it was quite peacefull. The morning i waked up after a coma i had a out of body experience. Hard to explain how it feels but almost like your playing a 3th person game controling your own body from top view but also still looking in first person. Really really weord stuff that you can only understand if you ever been there

Mines kind of a mess, I had an infection in my brain and multiple strokes, and I was unconscious at the time. I know I had weird dreams, and a lot of nothingness, but I don't think I can pinpoint exactly when the death part was.

The dream part was being wheeled through the ICU on my bed by a nurse and my mum. We stopped at several of the other rooms, then went out onto the street (it was a really snowy winter at the time) and I got out of bed and wandered off for a bit. I remember stopping to watch a TV that was on top of one of the cars for a while, but I don't remember what I saw. Then the nurse called over to me and told me I had to go back. It might be because it was so long ago, but I don't know if it was in a first person or a third person view, perhaps something I between or different entirely. I can't put any of the events while I was ill in any kind of order either, so I don't know if that was when I died or not.

I personally haven't, although I've been near death during an attempt. I have, however, read a book titled, "Proof of Heaven". It's an absolutely great read for anyone who doubts, looking for information, possibilities, etc.

The author is a neurosurgeon who has never believed in anything of the sort until he unexpectedly goes into a coma, and rather quickly, and has the experiences listed within the book. He provides amazing information and reasonings as to why it isn't possible for any of this to have been "dreams". I completely recommend this, again. It really is a quite fascinating and just stunning book, while extremely well written.

Yes that's what I mean by I didn't experience anything. I didn't have any dreams, revelations, relive my life in flashes or reels. It was just all completely black and terrified me. I did not like it at all.

I did have a nde but it wasn't like officially diagnosed or anything. It was just 2 times that I happened to almost die but I'm not sure what the exact requirements are for it to actually be an nde and if you need to be unconscious and stuff. I honestly just saw the darkness with light in the middle and it was slowly closing in. Couldn't breathe but I wasn't gasping for air too much, it felt warm and comfortable and not bad actually

Dude that's wonderful, I'm so glad your experience matches what a lot of other people have experienced. Any others?
