I'm really afraid of 2021. I don't want to be alive, but I feel like I have an obligation to live for the people around me. Corona may not be finished then, and I need to get my act together then otherwise I will truly be a good for nothing NEET. It'll be another year of being a coward about CTB, another year of failure whilst everyone else is excited for the future. I am terrified of 2021. Anyone else afraid of the new year to come?

2020 set a pretty high (or is it low?) bar for how bad things could get so I'd be genuinely impressed if 2021 can top that in terms of things sucking even if the pandemic continues. It does still put a lot of fear in me though.

I think the tragedies will last for a few years. Every century has to begin with a great tragedy right? And it's not a 2020's curse it's people's actions so the consequences will continue. Idk if you feel me. The tragedies aren't related to the number of 2020. It's like a domino. We were always living on the edge of the tragedies but nothing/almost nothing was happening. And once booooom everything started to fall down one by one... I mean all pieces have to fall down before it ends so yeah I think 2021 will be a series of tragedies too.

I'm scared of finishing highschool, so definitely. I think we will all recover though, surely not quick.
My mom's gonna force me to apply to college, I'll try to wave her off with my job as an excuse, then when I have the money I'll get my shotgun and finally leave.
Based of of the same strain of viruses, this could take anywhere from a few months to 4 years. Immunizations should be out quick but the vaccine is being withheld here.

I think 2021 will just be like 2020. Humanity fucked too much up and now they have to live with the consequences. I don't know if I'll be alive till 2021 so I don't feel like thinking too much about it.

Honestly, 2020 was a huge disappointment for me, and I'm not sure 2021 is going to be any better... I'm a bit afraid of what it might bring, but I'm training myself to not care anymore and just let things be. I'm not particularly excited about 2021 tbh.
I hope 2021 will be a good year.

I want to see what happens, I think it really is about the great reset and after it you'll get enough money to live on from the government and won't need to work if you don't want to.

Life for us could be much better than it is now.

Don't worry when they say there's a new strain, covid21 that is more deadly, that's just to scare people into another lockdown so they can completely kill the economy, we'll be in the new system by June next year.

It might be great!

I don't like New Year in general. I have the feeling that everything will restart from the beginning again and again. Every year is the same, winter, spring, summer, fall. Every day is the same. Just waiting the day is over again and again. Pro-lifers are happy to start a new year and I do not understand that at all. I cannot explain why starting a new year is so distressing for me. It is just a number....

Me too... George Orwell wrote in 1984: "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever."

An now it looks indeed we are heading in this direction. Mark my words, 2021 will be the true annus horribilis, there will be even more mysery than 2020 - not only economical but social. The obedient muzzle-wearing masses will still be too docile and apathetic to resist the ruling class and the great reset will bring us a global police state with total surveillance.

We are truly a pathetic species, the only thing where mankind is good is to create more suffering - we dont deserve this planet.

The ruling elite will never let a crisis go to waste; they will use chaos to their advantage and instill their influence on the masses with lies and empty promises. We are blissfully ignorant of the true machinations hidden from the eyes of society, and when things get painfully obvious, there will be no one left to tell the truth. YAAY! ANOTHER GAME FOR US, THE LITTLE PEOPLE LOL!

2020 was a top notch year for me and a few others, but I know that it wasn't for most. So it would be inappropriate to wish for "more of the same". Except on an anonymous forum maybe.

I'm scared of waking up everyday. Unfortunately, I do.

I think things in general will get worse all over the world but as for me, I'm doing a bit better so I hope not to become a NEET again.

If I can't endure life, I'll be deffo gone in some months.

Frankly, if we really think about what is going on, it will be a tough year. I am quite burnt out myself and don't really have the resources to cope with what is inevitably coming in terms of the environment, politics, human rights, water shortages etc. I think we will see a lot more cracks in the things we stand on this year.

I don't quite know what to think- I hope it will be better but I worry about the new strains, and about the way governments will deal with or use the ever increasing power the pandemic has given them to control the people. It seems those who are the most scared, who use to be terrified even during normal flu season, are now no longer classed by society as paranoid- normality and mental health has been flipped on its head. It's all a bit scary, but sometimes I get a bit of a morbid curiosity as to how society will change and be run going forward. Will the common people still believe in lockdowns if they go on for 5, 10 more years? Will enough people get the vaccine to allow us all to go back to normal? Time will tell. Don't know if I want to be around for a possible dystopian nightmare though.

2020 was actually better for me, despite the stress of Trump and all the right wing shit infilitrating the UK. The lockdown didn't effect me as I was used to that life anyway. Infact people who were used to busy lives were effected more than me, if that makes sense. I felt less pressure being a recluse in 2020.

I'm a bit scared because my mom got scammed out of a lot of money, and things are getting particularly hairy for us. Corona didn't change my life at all, I'm shut in NEET, so it really doesn't matter.
