Venting Anybody else sick of people coming to you with suicidal thoughts?

In the past year I've made some actual IRL human friends. There always needs to be some suicidal drama swirling around them, it's honestly taxing my reserves.
I mean they're fucking adults, they're way too old for this. It makes me realize how annoying I must be. Their whole personality is mental illness and so is mine. Anybody else relate?

Nope. U must give off an air of welcoming because people don't usually open up unless you ask. Or the fact that you are looking for friends? That's just part of being a friend. Gotta create some space, and if your going to ctb then that's probably an even better idea. Just my opinion.

I relate to the whole personality being mental illness. When I first learned it it sucked some serious ass bc I learned all my strengths were really weaknesses. And yes I feel like shit sometimes for being annoyed when my friends need me. It annoyed me the most when I had really bad insomnia and they would call me frantically just as I fell asleep... I think the irritation is from being uncompassionate and callous though (me). I also get jealous bc I think their lives are better than mine

To be honest, their attitude around suicide seems kind of childish, like it reminds me of the Emo kids in high school. I recently was in a coma and hospitalized for an attempt, and I've told them how much it messes with me to deal with their problems too. I don't know, it's annoying but I do it too.

People dont come to me often. And if they do, they just wanna talk about themselves and compare themselve to me how they think im a dumbass and i should stop being "sad" s or judge me / use me for soemthing.
But when ever people do share their thoughts and sadness i genuinly care amd i wouldnt wish suicidal thoughts on anyone. Its horrible.
Just wished they didnt drop me after i help them..

Pretty much sums up my life. If you need someone to talk to then just say the word and I can PM you. In fact, this forum's full of really nice people so there a lot of real people who actually will give a shit and won't drop you :)

I'll take it on good faith that you're not trolling. I think your friends might be drama queens, although I have maybe one person in my life to share my suicidal thoughts with, so in a way you're lucky. Many people have none, hence the need for this forum.

Focus on yourself and no one else. However, focusing on yourself may require that u try and be there for them, to avoid feelings of guilt. Also, you should try and stop doing it too. After all, misery does love company.

at the same time it's sad that many of them really suffer from that while having personalities (or potential to evolve) that are worth saving
love and sexual urges are such a big factor for suicidality...pls kill society and reboot
