The thing is I read on here nightmarish stories about bullying due to penis size. Something like that can be pretty traumatizing. When people share their secret with us about this stigmatized topic they in a very vulnerable situation.
I consider jokes concerning this topic from people that are not affected as disrespectful. For me this is similar to fat shaming or making fun of people who don't identify with their biological sex.

I think penis size is often only one problem out of many for these people. I don't think it is necessary consider one body issue less relevant than others.

Sometimes I can relate that people might overestimate the importance of the size of their genitals. But recently I read a real horror story of a person with exactly this problem. And it caused a lot of pain in him. He was bullied by so many people because of it. So we should not underestimate the potential impact of this problem. Some people consider to commit suicide because of it.

Also, guys, be careful about going by eye-measurement (especially if you're a porn viewer). I thought I was small, but it turns out that I'm actually dead-on average (this apparently changes with where you live), with large hands/frame. Also, many think that the average penis size is 6.0 inches (when it's actually almost an inch shorter than that, not sure how reliable the results are though, and it seems to vary by country, with Ecuadorians packing like 7" on average [not sure how good the source is here]). I also don't see how one or two literal centimeters would make much of a physical difference in sexual intercourse, has to be mostly a psychological effect. Women can masturbate with just hands, too, right? Or a vibrator or whatever, so I mean what's up with this whole thing, really? I have read testimonies online of women saying everything from that it doesn't matter to that they need a certain size. I've also read about guys who pick up women literally just by their penis size (often informed from word of mouth, sometimes ending up with entire groups of women wanting to engage in casual sex with these men). At the same time, I've also heard of a few relationships not working well due to the D being too big. I'll stop there.

I think jokes like that are part of the problem. Such a mentality leads the media to write that bullying was part of this forum.

Personallly I don't think it is bullying. But people should be more sensitive concerning this very stigmatized topic. I mean there are people who seriously consider committing suicide because of it. This forum is a great place to talk openly about stigmatized topics. Though on this one some people show a lack of empathy in my opinion.

It's not a justification, l dgaf if people like my posts or not - l was putting my view on the usual empathy-policing bullshit and why l think it's risible bollocks, and often the demands for empathy seem to always be going one way.
