What are the best things to use for a partial suspension?

I see people have had luck with exercise bands but I don't have access to that atm

As far as I know, a static rope (or cloth) is the best
Thicker one will be more comfortable
Needless to say whatever you choose must be strong enough to hold your bodyweight and more

How does one go about finding a good anchor point...?
My biggest concern is finding the proper anchor point that will hold through the entire process. I always worry about breaking shit.

Most people use doors, even for full suspension - there's a vid on the wiki. BTW partial is a shit method, but that's just my opinion. It's too easy to back out from, a big NOPE for me.

Trees or doors are the most common as far as I know
Some people use ceiling fan but I doubt it would hold my bodyweight

If I knew of a place for full suspension I would but my house isn't private and I live in suburbia
