No. I've tried various methods in practice and the only safe way without accidentally dying is to use my hands, which become twitchy, weak and release before I can pass out. I've been right on the edge though so I think I've got a pretty good idea I'll be successful if I ever decide to go down that route. I'm still hoping things get better though.
Thanks for the info, and yes, I tried it a couple of times with my hand also, I felt like there was a feeling of getting tired, but I didnt feel like I was going to pass out, and I know this isnt really a reliable way, but just for practice, I used my webbed belt and 2 tightly rolled up socks, and I wrapped the belt around my neck, and I put 2 dots with a marker where I felt the carotid arteries were, and placed the socks on them, and then tightened the belt without locking it, just in case I were to actually ctb, and and then the pressure started, my eyes went kind of dark, and I held the belt tight, until my hands got tired, and I was forced to let go. A part of me felt like I was going to pass out, but i didnt. So then I took it up a notch, and did it again, and I tightened the belt as tight as I could, but this time, I locked it in place, and after like 10 seconds, I started getting that feeling I mentioned the first time with the belt not locked in. So after 30 seconds or more, still had that feeling of wanting to pass out, but I never did, so I stopped and took off the belt. So I'm not sure if it just doesnt work with my webbed belt and socks, I felt like I was precise with everything, or I am compressing the wrong arteries.
