Antifreeze tastes sweet. Anyone have experience with a brand that didn't mix bitter tasting agent with antifreeze? Anyone attempt using this method before?

even if we had a super detailed FAQ on all the methods there'd always be someone to ask completely ridiculous questions about methods of unimaginable gruesomenessRecurring questions like these are exactly why we need a more comprehensive FAQ.

That's a bad one. I'm a chemist. Ethylene glycol actually produces needle like crystals of calcium oxalate in the liver and kidneys that cause painful damage which could eventually lead to death but in many cases not. The most likely results are horrible pain then dialysis for the rest of your life with damage to major organs. It happens fairly regularly that a kid gets poisoned by antifreeze. The ER method of flushing it out is actually ethanol. The person is given enough ethanol that the crystals will dissolve and the kidneys and liver can flush out the ethylene glycol.
It's not a poison that causes a shut down of neurotransmitter or respiratory systems or part of your cardio regulatory systems that lead to a fast death. Do not drink antifreeze.
I just want to clarify, I thought of using this method for myself....not anyone else... :D ...Anyways, I just want to state that, as the way i wrote it could be mistaken....I watch those investigation shows, from time to time.. Sometimes a significant other/ family member tries to off their partner with antifreeze. From what they say, the individual poisoned is in a lot of pain, like severe stomach pain, headache, and body fatigue. But Google might provide you more details. I have thought of this method, but I think it might be slow and painful....

Yes thank for thatBut on the plus side, you can be glad that you have avoided such a terribly painful and non-fatal ordeal!

You have to quote me if you want me to see your response. I just checked this thread again by chance.Death is most commonly 12-36 hours when untreated and 17-18 hours in (still untreated) I wasn't in unbearable agony at all. Not that I would recommend it.
