Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

My parents won't give me anti-depressants and it is really hurting me. Does anyone know a way I can get anti-depressant medications without prescription or anything I can use that would have the same effect? I'm 19 but in my culture your parents still have full control over you so that's why I cannot get it myself. I just want some sort of medication that would make me happy, I'm really sick of feeling so sad and empty everyday

It sounds rough.
Getting anti depressants without a doctor can be hard, prescriptions are given to you based on a number of things based on severity, weight, age, sensitivity etc.
Self medicating can lead to other problems too because a doctor can correctly identify the problem and you run the risk of taking the wrong medication.
I'd suggest to see if you can get in contact with a doctor without your parents knowing, which shouldn't be too hard. You can attend your appointment by telling them that you're going to see a friend or something.
In most countries, doctors legally cant tell anyone anything that you tell them without your permission, other than stuff like death threats to other people.
I wish you the best of luck.

Generally, if you know what medication helps you , you may be able to get it form dark net, especially if it's benzodiazepins. The dark net is awash of them.

But why don't you just go to the doctor and say that you're depressed and need help? Actually, it's not great in the UK. GP is very limited in what they can prescribe, they're are very tight in referring you to the specialist, and waiting list is several months. I remember when I everntually got there, a specialist just asked me tons of questions about my childhood from the sheet and ticked the boxes. I felt completely invisible. Then she prescribed me the same what GP has prescribed and what didn't help.
So, yes, mental health help can suck in many countries.

Unfortunately anti-depressants aren't the "happy pill" that is implied by media and whatever. When I was 14 I thought "man, I want to die all the time, but if I go to the doctor they'll give me prozac and I'll feel okay". But it can take trying several different meds before they find one that helps you, and not all people find any that work on them.

But it's definitely worth a go. You're on this forum, so you don't have a ton to lose.
