Buy a long spool of steel cable. Tie one end to a tree and the other end around your neck (with the cable going through the loop on both ends, so pulling makes it tighter on both ends, I'm not sure what you call that). Get in a car with the window most of the way up and put your safety belt on (important) and maybe tie another strap around your body to the seat. Put pedal to the metal and it should decapitate you. Ideally in a heavier SUV or truck or a car with good acceleration. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Even if for some reason it didn't decapitate you it should open up your carotid artery.

It should be near instant if you're decapitated right? This would be better than the train method on the second count, and would likely be about as bad as someone finding your body that has been decaying for weeks or over a month, which happens all the time, or about as bad as using a shotgun.

If I were more handy I might've built a guillotine.

This method while in theory sounds plausible also sounds terrifying and utterly undignified (not that that will always matter).

If you're decapitated instantly then yes I suppose so but as with all methods, you can't guarantee a 100% success rate. If you fail it's a horrible and painful way to go and you may not even die.

I'm aware of case reports where this method has gone wrong and resulted in a slow and painful death by strangulation. There are also many, many variables involved in this, not all of them immediately obvious. Not at all a pleasant way to go - but that's just my personal opinion.

A reliable and likely painless method if done correctly. It's been used here and there, though many people don't like the gore of it. I would be careful though; force will hit the front of the neck, and if they're isn't enough it could be very painful.

And make sure there are no snags as you speed up so that it doesn't accidentally yank you at not a high enough speed and severely injure yourself but not die. Gruesome.. could never attempt

Yea I think you would want to combine this with SN. I also think jumping and the gun method should be combined with SN in case they don't work and you're left paralyzed.

Might want to put a brick on the gas pedal, would likely be a lot faster than free drop hanging if it didn't kill you instantly.
And maybe take painkillers and smoke some weed before hand.

Would be a much better way to die than cancer or Alzheimer's or having dementia your last 10-15 years.

I think there's quite a bit of physics involved with this method so quite a few things can go wrong imo.

A high test fishing line would probably be optimal for this. Knowing my luck I'd find a way to screw it up though.

Yea I think you would want to combine this with SN.

Just trying to work this out.

In theory SN would be a certain backup, provided you are not rescued for up to four hours. But for some people the effects are immediate, therefore you couldn't guarantee that you would have the physical capacity to drive. So while you're seeking an instant death, you'd need to be prepared that SN may be the method of death you need to experience, and as well plan for how to ensure you're not noticed or rescued.

Those are my thoughts. A lot of logistics to consider.

Oh man. That's fairly gruesome for the poor soul that finds you. I've seen online where it was successful. My foot would be horribly shaking on the gas peddle. I don't think my si would allow me to go through with it, but I don't want a traumatic demise.
