Do you guys have any anime or videogames that could help subdue the depressive thoughts?
Idk I'm just looking for something that could comfort me honestly.

Not knowing what you're into, I could off the cuff suggest roguelikes such as Hades or Ball x Pit (I'm currently playing the latter, it's very addictive) as they're intended to be played over and over and generally fall under the "easy to start, challenging to master" description, so they'll give you plenty to occupy your mind.

well i don't exactly know what you mean by comforting (maybe because i'm an esl) but if you mean the comforting type that has pretty landscapes with simple and happy stories i guess ghibli movies or cgdct like nonnonbiyori or diy may appeal to you
if you mean comforting as in anime depicting personal struggles and painting a more bleak landscape that you can relate to i guess you could read berserk or oyasumi punpun but that's manga so idk if it would still interest you

My comfort game used to be Skyrim, so much to do and get yourself lost in I'd always recommend it. Otherwise I love the visual novel/story game, the beginners guide. If you are artistic it has a interesting moral. It's made by the creators of the Stanley parable which are also great games, a dry sarcastic humour which used to amuse me.

I've heard about that manga. I'll check it out.
Ghibli movies are cool and can sometimes be comforting but I think I'm leaning more towards struggle depiction and bleak landscapes. Anyhow thank you♡
I've played the Stanley parable, didn't know they made another game. Defintely will be checking it out cuz the dev team seem to have interesting ideas and concepts up their sleeve

Have been watching Initial D, just cause it's a classic and all, and gotta say I didn't have many expectations but its been pretty fun! The animation is pretty much what you'd expect from a 90s anime though, kinda wacky.
