Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I saw a user who successfully CTB using a free standing pull up bar. If you don't have a good anchor point in the house would something like this suffice?

He's also not very suspicious at home. But I have no idea how stable he might be.

Bump
Bump @JesiBel @AreWeWinning @Gustav Hartmann. Please any hanging experts weigh in on options for anchor points if there are no good ones in the house and leaving the house isn't an option.

It would certainly be strong enough. Problem is all the stuff to rest your weight on. SI might stop you on one of those.

I think a standalone pull-up bar can be a good option, yes. Some people are worried that the pull-up bar might tip over. However, I think if it's a good-quality pull-up bar with a design that isn't too wobbly, tipping over shouldn't be a serious concern. It depends on the particular model – you need one that's relatively stable.

I've watched a few reviews on YouTube, and it appears that some of them are great and very stable, while others are less so. The type in your attached image appears to be a good one.

You also need to consider that you'll have to assemble it yourself. Still, this should be a lot easier than drilling holes and installing something on a wall, for example. It shouldn't be more difficult than assembling a piece of IKEA furniture. I've also seen some foldable ones, which don't require assembly at all.

The pull-up bar's height and whether you want full suspension or partial are also things to consider.

Which user are you talking about who successfully CTB'd with a free-standing pull-up bar? I only know @CaptainSunshine! (his scheduled post after his death). Rest in peace.

@BardBarrie was also posting about a free-standing pull-up bar, but I don't know whether he eventually succeeded or not. He hasn't been posting for a while, but never actually posted a goodbye thread as far as I know.

Thanks for all the info. I was referring to @CaptainSunshine. I hadn't seen @BardBarrie post before but it has some good suggestions on stabilizing with pictures.
