If one were to go thu this method, let's say in an environment in between 35F/2C - 40F/4.5C ( i hope i got the conversions right). Do you think the cold could have an effect on the process; i.e slowing the metabolism down further so it takes more time for the SN to do it's job?

The short answer is that I don't know. However, I read a comment in the past few weeks that a member was planning to go to the hotel gym prior to SN ctb to up metabolism. So if the cold is a concern, perhaps do some cardio and/or weights leading up to the ctb.

I don't know the answer but it makes sense if it does slow down in the cold?

I appreciate the input. Haven't really seen anything about someone doing the SN method out in the woods when it is cold. It was just mentioned to me so i thought i would ask.

That is what i thought also. I doubt there can be an answer as i'm sure this aspect has never really be looked into, scientifically. LOL I hate that word

We won't know the answer until someone tries it. Doesn't sound very peaceful ❤

I was considering going to the gym before CTB to increase my metabolism as @GoodPersonEffed says. That may actually help. Coaches do not even recommend to smoke after the training because a larger amount of tobacco poisons appear in your body in this case. I think if you keep your body warm and your body temperature is from 36 to 37, there should not be any concerns about effectiveness of SN

C, for F you have to be already dead to reach that body temperature

Well that remains to be seen though. Shit happens.

Technically resuscitation is possible, but it will take much time for body to reach that temperature. If it was like -60 celsium, then it's grand, but not 0 celsium outside

I hate the metric system. No offense. I can look at the conversions

I like royal system a little bit more because of an authenticity. Many countries lost their systems and using metric right now. So we can switch to royal

I'm pretty sure the digestive system is not significantly affected by outside temperature, as your body is not going to significantly change in temperature internally.

I would prefer some unity in the methods. While most are in the metric.. some aren't. I will not toss my country under the bus for such a trivial thing though. LOL
Just kidding.. i will

When you go to e.g. US and stand on the scales, you can see that you are heavier
Or when you buy some food and see numbers in lbs, you think you get more lol

It is more of the circulation of the SN going into the system if the body is colder. That is a valid point though. If the digestive system reacts to a colder environment. My first thought is that the digestive system is more internal. so it might take long to be cooled down.
