Emissary of the right to die.

So a while back (like last summer sometime), I had a debate/discussion between me and another guy (I'll refer to him as dumbshit), and it was one of the most awful debates and discussion I had in the recent past. I was talking about the right to die and how religion isn't necessarily right with it (basically separation of church and state, as well as how it's illogical and inconsistent to make law and policy based on religion). Also, other topics were about how reasonable expectations trump over just blind faith, false hope, and empty platitudes, and how morality is subjective and not objective or absolute (some discussions were somewhat deep).
What really pissed me off was how close minded he was during the whole discussion and illogical he is (hence I'm referring to him as dumbshit in this thread). Dumbshit is really delusional to the point where logic and reasoning is just irrelevant to him. If anything, this dumbshit keeps believing that there is always hope and that death is never the answer, no matter what (yes, this includes terminally ill patients, chronically and permanently disabled people with very poor quality of life, the chronically homeless and poverty-stricken people, etc.). He even goes so far as to claim that the Bible and God (his God) support life over death and is even willing to impose his will on others. I called him out on it and tried to reason with him that what he is doing is going against another's free will, and that morality isn't absolute. He argued that because his religion and God tells him to, therefore he is RIGHT. THIS is where I just lost it. I've called him out on his contradictions, illogical premise, as well as his immorality (probably a bad move) that he is willing to impose his will and superior morality on others that don't share his views, values. FUCK him. His wife is also the same (aka Dumbbitch), pro-life, anti-abortion deluded bitchhog, but that's another story so I'm not going to go off on that tangent.
During the debate/discussion, I've spent quite a bit of time trying to say that he is a hypocrite for doing so, not respecting others' rights and free will, and that just because he believes in something that isn't in line with his beliefs, morals, and values, does NOT give him the right to impose his beliefs, morals, and values on others. Ultimately, I compared him to the same people who impose their will on others (ISIL, ISIS, terrorists, etc.). He didn't take it well and just appealed to ignorance, emotion, and what not, stating that life is a good thing (which it isn't, as it's subjective) so he is doing a good thing be preserving life and forcing people to stay alive and what not. Also, he likes to play circular logic and dodge around questions and what not. I tried to prove that morality is NOT objective, but it's subjective and that you can't use religion as an absolute (maybe I've didn't frame it correct or my argument was weak, I don't remember), but that got nowhere but just circular dumb logic. Furthermore, he clings to this bullshit logic about hope and faith, while ignoring logic, reasoning, and science (reasonable expectations, probability and certainty).
(Incoming vent - I just had to)
Goddamn, if that motherfucker or his bitchwife tries to override another's DNR, medical decisions, and/or force another person (who is already choosing to die, especially terminally ill) to live, I fucking hope that person's kin or family will take vengeance, legal action, and/or the law punishes them harshly for doing so. That motherfucker even has the audacity to claim that Jesus came to fulfill the law but not abolish it (see Matthew 5:17 - yes I'm an atheist, but I'm quoting this verse to reference what he said.), which gives him a right to ignore others' free will, law, logic, and what not.
If there is someone who is batshit delusional as fuck and meets the textbook definition of delusional, it would be him. I have rarely if ever met anyone as close minded and disgusting as he is. He is also dangerous in the sense that he would do EVERYTHING he can to impose his morality and will on others. I've sense cut him out of my life along with his wife. Ugh I can't stand people who do that type of shit and think it's ok. I double dare that motherfucker and his bitchwife to try and pull that shit on someone who couldn't defend him/herself and see if the law along with the victim's family don't already do them in. Fuck, I'm sure they would be violating many laws by doing so, if not in the US, then at least in Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland. This isn't even including the possibility of getting sued in civil court. I just believe that these fuckers are gonna get their comeuppance if they do it to the wrong person/family, then I won't even feel sorry for those fucks.
tl;dr - I had a debate/discussion with some guy who was religious, yet not only could not see the wrong positions he holds but also refuses to accept other reasoning and is delusional.
So given all of that, what would you guys have done differently? Would you have stopped reasoning with a person like him, continued to convince him that he is wrong (even though he won't acknowledge, admit, or even open his mind but instead keeps to his circular fallacies, intellectual dishonesty, and ignorance)? Are there any good arguments to rebut against him?
