As I look around and see people going to the same job they hate, Consuming the same bullshit movies and entertainment, Using the same old used up slogans like How are you? or Ill keep you
in my prayers, Give me a fucking break, I bet half the people who use (Ill keep you in my prayers) never fucking pray. The fact the governments are trying to keep us sedated as possible with drugs that cause problems and more drugs to fix it. With food that keeps us hungry and wanting more and more and more so we spend spend and spend this bullshit paper we call money away. With porn that keeps us addicted to unnatural amounts of dopamine hits. I can go on and on but does anybody else fucking see this? or am I the only one awake here? It seems every day and every year is the fucking same. We are endlessly consuming ourselves away making the rich more rich and keeping ourselves poor and broken. We have these bullshit religions to keep people in fear and controlled. If anyone dare question the establishment you will be thrown in a mental hospital and called crazy and labeled with 7 different illnesses that you so not even have. Everybody wanting the newest Phone, Car, Tv, House, Clothes, but are done with the shit within a month and want the next best thing. My point is, I see right through this bullshit society. I told my parents these truths,
and because they are so brainwashed and it goes against everything they have ever learned they threated to kick me out and call me insane. What is insane is being so asleep u actually continue
to want to live in this bullshit exitance. We are like lab rats running on a wheel with a piece of cheese on a line trying to finally get to it, you can call this (THE AMERICAN DREAM) and we never achieve it. I live in America and i can tell you there are some of the most disrespectful brainwashed sheep here. America is a big trap STAY AWAY! This was a bit of a rant but maybe some of you can
relate and leave some comments on why you agree or maybe disagree.

I think that the "normal" ones are not accustomed to the bad side of life. They live in denial. They watch horror movies and sleep soundly by telling themselves that nothing bad could ever happen. They live in a pretty dream. I despise this side of society for denying that suffering exists. The whole reason why they can watch tragedies on tv is because their lives are so pretty that they need to see someone else's suffering to feel better about themselves. They have to see it highlighted in black and white to remember that it's possible. Regardless, they'll find it hard to believe, let alone understand, if it happens to them. The "normal" are people who aren't broken yet.

Very true. I believe that consumerism has gone way too far and has sapped away much meaning from life. But you aren't the only one awake, the extent of consumerism and its effects have been examined many times over by now... it's just that we can't do much to stop people from wanting to buy the things they want to buy. We can't stop people from doing the things they want to do.

the rat race is design to keep you poor and busy in bullshit jobs, i am sure there's a plot to enslave every man, woman and child, via schooling and working all desgined to keep you busy from the moment your born to the moment you die, lock in slave wage jobs, the vast majority hate their jobs but it keeps the rich and powerful in power, i mean you need at least 35k per year to live comfortable but you spend most of your time at work for that kind of pay so you never really have the time of day for your children upbring and schooling, alot of the schools are also crap at teaching anything

I think you could argue that indeed. The world can be a truly terrifying place if you think about everything that could happen to you all the horrors that are happening daily to people and animals everywhere. I think most people have the ability to shut all that out and just get on with it. Then there are those of us who are more sensitive and more in tune with everything going on. so yes who are the crazy ones and who are the sane ones?

I would just like to push back a little bit though. I do think a lot of people are more hyper aware now due to things like social media and the globalisation of news. I think if you asked them what the chances of something bad happening to them like dying of covid, getting stabbed on the street, being the victim of a hate crime etc they would dramatically over estimated the chances.

It's absolutely absurd to me how those with awareness of the reality of existing are called "ill", despite the fact they are simply being realistic. Existence certainly is nothing more than a futile cycle of unnecessary suffering and senseless cruelty, this world truly is a hellish and repulsive place.

The world really is awful that's true, anyone who doesn't recognize that is delusional, extremely privileged or ignorant. However, there are many people that lead fulfilling lives here, and many that lead lives that are bearable enough for suicide not to be considered, which keeps things going the way they are. If we were all fulfilled and happy with our lives we most likely wouldn't be here.

This is very true but many people learned to ignore it, I'm sure many people felt like this before but they disregard how fucked up this world is and how pointless life is because of all the reasons you wrote about. I think we're the only ones who are aware. Its like we're being controlled, as if there is a higher power deciding how everything is done.

I think part of the puzzle is lack of contentment in life. it seems.to me.that many people want everything now, without really paying or earning it. So debt is a big problem. Housing too is expensive compared to say 20 Years ago. Consumerism will never make people happier because you can.never have enough of it. I also wondered if people relationships have broken down. People seem hooked to electronic gadgets. You maybe more awake than many people and like me, your inner ' voice ' is often your best friend.
