so i was watching an episode of river monsters and jeremy said that the water was so cold a human would sink instead of float.

am i the only one, that would if they could, take the preferred method and then pass out over the edge into the water? i mean if your method doesnt work the hypothermia will and your body wont be found. he was on a huge lake thats 1000ft deep if i remember right.

Apparently hypothermia is a relatively painless way to go. It's not a realistic option for me, living in Australia.

As an aside, I'm a big fan of Jeremy Wade and River Monsters. I was upset to hear the 9th season will be the last.

i almost got hypothermia in the middle of summer. its cold and a whole lot of not fun. tip: dont stay in the water too long especially if you have zero body fat to retain heat lol

It sounds like the same results can be achieved with a bathtub and maybe 30-50 lbs of ice

the hypothermia part yes, but i specifically made this post because i noticed a few people would like their bodies to not be found. it'll be found in a bathtub vs 1000ft of water lol
