Basically the title. This is somewhat of an odd feeling because I feel more cowardly than those who have come to terms with the idea and are carefully planning to ensure minimal damage is done after it happens, and the actual passing is smooth and peaceful. It seems hardly possible that I could be 'suicidal' and feel this way, since it seems by definition untrue. Idk. I'm probably overthinking this as I recognise all feelings are valid. What do you all think?

I think if I was unsure then I would not do it, whether it is that final moment based on impulse or whether I had been meticulously planning it for weeks.

Personally I have found that it has become a lot harder since I started researching and planning. Not because of concern over what will happen, or a dimming of willpower but more because it becomes an analytical/logical decision rather than an emotional/impulsive one.

It's also a lot easier to live when you know you can die.

Ultimately, if you don't do it today then there is always tomorrow or the next day or the next. But if you do it when you're not ready - well, you only get to do that once.

I wouldn't recommend committing suicide on emotional impulse. If you're afraid, it probably means you're not sure. If you're not 100% sure, you shouldn't do it. There's nothing cowardly about suicide nor NOT committing suicide- they both just are
