I dont wanna be out of breath, ringing in the ears and go blind. I know that i can expect stomach pain, tachycardia, headaches and that's fine but it's the symptoms usually in the end that scares me

I think there is more people than you might imagine with the same fear. I worry about this alot. This is why I have chose a method that is more instant with no prolonged pain or ability to escape.

Im actually terrified too, as i dont have benzos. I think it will end up buying weed, but havent done It yet. It's still caught in customs (for 5 days now). My alternative is jumping (dont have access to firearms) but that is terrifiying in it's own way.

Im currently just trying to accept that my last moments are not gonna be peaceful

I thought you get unconscious before the "real pain" kicks in. You will make sounds but won't suffer, but if I am wrong someone correct me (and please provide a source)

This is the reason why I plan on drinking some alcohol. I really don't feel like obtaining benzos or other pills, I suck at tht anyways and I don't wanna search the deep web or fake an injury (idk how ppl get those but those are my guesses lol)

Drinking alcohol before SN is really not recommended as it increases tremendously the risk of vomiting.

Yeah I recently got in my head about this too. I really can't take pain (especially if it's self-inflicted, and drinking poison counts) and I am claustrophobic. Not in the traditional sense, but figuratively: I hate not knowing I "can't get out" of a bad mental/physical situation if I need to. I don't ever hear about blindness thankfully, or even ringing, but the suffocation feeling that I expect to happen scares me. I like knowing I can breathe and that there's another breath if I need it. Dry drowning? Like damn... it's already going to be overwhelming, panic-stricken, uncomfortable/painful with the "can't breathe" feeling, feeling your own intensified heart beat (which I also hate), etc. I didn't think I would be forced to not breathe until I passed out too smh😪 Sn is not my first choice. Hope to god I can afford another method.

Hopefully the benzos in the procols helps with this a bit. It sounds like a rational fear I suppose but then ultimately is just a fear. One thing that keeps me out of that fear is knowing I will be finding peace & serenity and to let that knowledge prevail my thought process the best I can.

I hope you find everything you are looking for and get peace & serenity with whatever you decide.

I wish I could go back to a minute ago when I still thought SN was a relatively peaceful method lmao. Are blindness and the ringing actually common symptoms? I read a case report where diarrhea occurred but the person also happened to have IBS. Is this a similar case where it could be more of a individual problem?

Also, how much shortness of breath are we talking about? I can't stand not being able to breath, that's why hanging and drowning just won't be possible for me.

Oh okay. All good then.
Ik this is serious, but this response to "I'm gonna hang" sounds somewhat morbid comical...

(Again, not criticizing any of you)

I confess that this also worries me. I read a report in which a young man who had CTB with SN was found with a lot of vomiting and bleeding from the nose. Therefore, I concluded that if he had bleeding from the nose he must have suffered from some kind of pain before he passed away definitively.

Therefore, I concluded that if he had bleeding from the nose he must have suffered from some kind of pain before he passed away

I recently attempted to CTB with a massive OD (no SN involved). I obviously failed, but I was told that if I hadn't been found when I was, that I would have been successful. My next of kin and many friends were told repeatedly, by medical doctors, for 2.5 days that I was braindead.

When I came to, I can only describe the inside of both my nostrils as the thickest scabs that I've experienced, and in fact thicker than I ever could have imagined possible. I initially assumed it was due to intubation (for other reasons, I've had the unpleasant experience of having had NG tubes in the past), or something similar, but everyone that I asked said there weren't any tubes in my nose, only in my mouth.

I've since read about something called "nasal hemorrhaging" which is what I'm assuming happened in both my case and the case that you described. If so, I was absolutely unconscious by the time it was happening and I did not suffer at all from it.

What if you're given the antidote the second you go blind? Then you are stuck like that for the rest of your life.
