Added drugs for poisoning

SA, SN, N ... one needs something to take with all ... (as a side note , I just ordered meto to get that over with)

Since I don't remember the details of all those threads:

N: antiemetic, meto should work
SN and SA: meto

Nitschke mentions sodium bicarbonate for SN if I recall correctly. But has he changed his position ?
Also, I recall Zofran/ondantseron. Not sure for what ?

Sodium bicarbonate changed to antacids a while ago (cimetidine / Tagamet preferably, ranitidine could work but I don't know if you'd need to alter the dose). You could still use sodium bicarbonate probably.

Ondansetron can be used with metoclopramide or another dopamine blocker but not by itself as it will not prevent vomiting from overdose. People ask about it a lot so that may be why. https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Suicide/Toxification/Antiemetic_regimen When we have the October PPeH there should be a chapter discussing anti emetics. However, it seems it has some dubious advice from what I have seen. Stick with the metoclopramide.

When you pick a method, go back and reread those chapters of the PPeH as well as the threads and write yourself a step by step set of instructions. Don't mix the methods, there is very little to be gained - most notably increased risk of vomiting, causing failure.

You will need the metoclopramide either way if you choose any of these methods, sensible purchase.

But ondantseron is likely not really necessary ? I wonder.
Cimetidine is a drug I could get, but not cheaply for as far as I know (Europe). I know amazon . com has it ... Not sure about comparative effects of sodium bicarbonate.

What abotu a dose of an opiate like oxycodone for pain/suffering ? A benzo wouldn't knock me out, and paracetamol/NSAIDS wouldn't work for pain.
