accidentally bought sodium nitrate instead of nitrite

kicking myself really, my dyslexia has won on this occasion. out of curiosity alone, what would happen if I took sodium nitrate as opposed to sodium nitrite?

You would have to take a higher dose. I don't know which one, I'm a bad mathematician.

You would most likely vomit before you could drink the entire dose of nitrate.
There would also be much more unpleasant symptoms.

In general, nitrate should not be used as a substitute.
The probability of CTB is relatively low.
I do not recommend using sodium nitrate.
