• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hello everyone! I have always been fascinated by accidental deaths. for example:

Yashtika Acharya, while squatting, the barbell ended up under her neck and she twisted her ankle. The 270kg barbell crushed her neck in a gym accident.

A man was found inside a snow-covered car while the engine was still running. The snow was blocking the exhaust pipe and the man suffered fatal monoxide carbon poisoning.

Let me know stories like these that live rent free in your head.

Equipped lifting always seemed very dicey to me(squat and bench anyway). You're increasing the amount of weight you can handle by multiple factors while at the same time drastically reducing your mobility because of the stiffness of the suit. If you get into a bad position and something has to give, it's probably going to be the part of your body that's not covered in rigid material.
To contribute to your fascination with accidental deaths, a somewhat common ocurrence in Brazil is death by carbon monoxyde poisoning, usually when tourists rent out old/remote properties, where a generator or some other appliance is leaking CO while the occupants are in a room with insufficient ventilation. Because CO has no smell, it is possible that you will pass out before realizing anything is going on, or that you will simply go to sleep normally and concentrations will become lethal during that time.

Billionaire couple dies of monoxyde poisoning in a rental beach property. Fortunately the son and the property staff survived. The news story shows a large machine in what seems to be the basement as the cause for the leak, but I can't identify what it might be.

A couple was found dead in their car, which was parked on a highway gas station. It was ruled that the car itself was not the source of the CO, but rather that the atmosphere in the area surrounding the old gas station proved to be lethal.

Similar story. A couple was found dead inside their room in a rural inn.

A family of four was found dead from CO poisoning inside their apartment. According to the story, the culprit is likely a leak in a heater which had been recently installed.

A woman fell in a meat grinder in Pennsylvania USA a couple years ago. Recently in a nearby community a woman accidentally died falling into a river that was partially frozen. Car accidents, accidental death seems to happen all the time.

In my country, natural gas is widely used to heat houses in winter.

Many families forget to have their equipment and ventilation checked properly at home and die from carbon monoxide (co) poisoning.

It is estimated that 250 people die each year due to this imprudence. Entire families sometimes while they sleep.

Every autumn and winter, there are even national awareness campaigns here. But people are very risky.

Thank you so much !! I never think about that ! It's crazy you're supposed to be one vacation and you end up poisoning yourself with CO. I love that kind of story. In a way they peacefully pass away while doing something they like.

CO2 can build up deep in lakes in certain conditions, then rapidly release in a limnic eruption and kill people.

The Lake Nyos limnic eruption killed 1,746 people within 25 kilometres (16 mi) of the lake.

The smaller Lak Monoun limnic eruption killed 37 people.

The solution is to place a large pipe vertically in the lake, and the CO2 will naturally start bubbling to the surface through the pipe and prevents such dangerous volumes of CO2 from accumulating.

That would be so convenient if I accidentally died soon. Just oops then gone.
