• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Recently while I was researching about various anesthetics I discovered this substance "diethyl ether" apparently its easily available and cheap and it can make you unconscious, so I was wondering If I soak a towel with ether and place it in an exit bag covering my face, will it make me unconscious and the low oxygen kill me?

Its not easily available, nor easy to synthesize at home. Also simply inhaling anesthetics its very dangerous. Its better to ingest or inject them

Faster to make you lightheaded yes, but a fatal dose by simply sucking a towel is impossible. You would wake up after few minutes
Does it taste okay? also won't low oxygen kill you that's the point of the exit bag

Ahh, devil ether

I dont know. But consider that your towel could slip away (especially when you are convulsing under asphyxiating). There are much that can go wrong. You could regain consciousness. I also dont know if the stuff that is presented on amazon in your country is really what you are looking for.

Theoretically, that may work. But ether may cause burning sensations when inhaled at high concentrations. And time to LOC from it is not great, as far as I remember. Cyclopropane, chloroethane (ethyl chloride), or nitrous oxide probably would be better anesthetics for sealed bag configuration.

Are there any injectable anestetics that one can get?

Chloroform is easy to synthesize at home. But death is not guaranteed, and if you survive a high dose of chloroform (ingested or injected), be certain to have the worst hangover for the next months with the possibility of life-long liver damage.

Cloroform and ether are next to useless. I was thinking of propofol or similar anestetics/narcotics.

I tried chloroform to knock me out while I suffocated. I did not use a constant supply of chloroform so I ended up waking and violently puking everywhere. I had vertigo for three days straight and now the smell of chloroform induces instant nausea.

Also, while it requires two regular household ingredients to make at home, any form of chemistry requires skill and often specialized equipment and/or environmental controls to make sure everything goes well. I would not advise trying to make this at home unless you have extensive chemistry experience.
