Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Not often do you see such eloquently written, deep-thought-provoking viewpoints on this forum; many people here are gonna give you a heat for it, but I completely agree. It's a real shame how people just dismiss the idea entirely without giving it any second thoughts, but, thankfully, now I know I'm not alone in this, so hopefully it's getting better.
