My dad is incentivising me to "work hard", get good grades and go to Australia next summer when I'm 21
That sounds very unenyjoable. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not ungrateful for the trip but I don't see why one has to waste money on pointless holidays when you could get the cost of the trip in cash (at least for me).
I'm more interested in buying codeine, alcohol, valium, and weed with that money but staying abroad. Holidays are great but ehhh.....I don't see the appeal.
Someone has said that it's perhaps because I'm going with my family and naturally teens/young adults want independence or to go with their friends/romantic partners but even then....I still think that a holiday is shit.
I think buying heroin and xanax would be more euphoric.
