Does someone feel the same?
Maybe just not the time?

It is not easy to leave. But this is how people free themselves from pain. And sometimes they are also sad, but the desire to end the pain is higher.

A pointless life had in a pointless world

I love myself and my body. I want the best for myself.

I'm suicidal because I'm tired of the abuse and torture I face in this world. Suicide is a mercy in my mind, the end of suffering.

I love myself to the point that I think I deserve better than this reality.

I will miss this body and mind, and I think it's a shame that my reality never allowed me to live up to my full potential.

Suicide is always sad because the world is sad. When someone kills themselves it means this harsh world we live in has failed them in some way.

So I understand your sentiment.

I don't exactly feel sad but I understand how one could. I see death as an end to my suffering and a way to make peace with myself. I feel more sadness about the act of doing the suicide rather than actually being dead.

I don't feel sad for myself. I do feel sad for my family and my friends though. I guess I'm not sad because I know that I don't want to live in this world. Life really isn't worth it, we like to think that we have some amazing unknown purpose, but in reality there is nothing and we purely exist to keep the human species going, just like any other animal really. And other animals don't have as intelligent brains as us, so they just get on with life because they don't have the capacity to ask these sorts of questions. Our developed brain is a curse.

Maybe because deep down in your heart you know you can turn things around. Perhaps, you are still in time to experience a happy life.

Just in case, don't act impulsively. Death is patiently waiting for all of us.

I don't think anyone actually wants to kill themselves they just want the pain to end. Suicide is the saddest, loneliest act imaginable. And I find it disgusting that we have to resort to that.

I think the sadness comes from a culmination of the things that have brought someone to seek death.

it makes sense to me in a way that even if YOU are ready to go. You still may think about what and who you leave behind.
For me, personally, I don't care about existing or not, I rather go now. But the impact that that creates in other people concerns me.

It is something we all face even if it is caused by illness, accident or old age. Some need to leave early and have reconciled this question. That might be one way you know it is time.

It may be possible that you are thinking of everything that you will miss. Just because someone wants to commit suicide that does not mean they dislike their life.

I feel sad but it's because I'm disappointed in myself. I'm not doing this because I don't want to live. I know there is so much beauty and good in the world.

I had things I wanted to do. I've always wanted to travel and never got to do more than go to a couple places in the US, and Cancun which ended up spiralling me into a depressive state for the better part of a year anyway.

But I always wanted to go to Europe, and Japan. I'm sad about the things I'll miss out on. The food I want to try. I had so many experiences I longed for and aspirations for work that I self sabotaged myself from having. That is sad.

I'm sad I wont be able to hold my cat anymore and tell him I love him and shower him with kisses. He's my little buddy and deserves better than what I can give him but I know he loves me and I've seen him feel/react to loss when my older cat passed away last year.

blah.

It's normal. We've formed attachments during our lifetimes. Whether it's attachment to something or someone currently in our lives or something we've always strived to do or accomplish. I read somewhere, "the root of all suffering is attachment." It's very true. Detachment is key, but possible, I don't know. I guess you have to put these things on a mental scale. What's heavier as far as importance? The things you love and you'll miss or your own personal suffering and depression. Who wins?
