Just curious for anyone here, if you or when you actually CTB, what song or songs would you like listening to the most in your final moments? For me It's let down by radiohead as it's one of my personal favorite songs by them and really resonates with me, either that or the song the downwards spiral by NIN, it's from my favorite album of all time, although I feel like I'd be listening to that only if I was in a terrible fucking state during my last moments

I've had "Into the Unknown" as my title on this site because even before I joined this site, I thought that the song from Frozen 2 describes the desire to CTB fairly well even if that wasn't what they intended.

I was actually listening to music during my last attempt, an ost from an rpg called Ib, the song is "Memory". Obviously I failed that attempt but I might play this song again for the next time because it's really nice and comforting to me.

The granite gaze - lankum

Are we the ones left behind
By those who weave cords that bind?
They draw the marrow from our very bones
And we in turn, turn on our own
Stood in line in horsehair shirts
We queued up to eat the dirt
We traded lumps on narrow streets
Can't bite the hand when you've no teeth
And it's a standing ovation for the shadow of a stone
As we dig into the soil beneath our homes
The future's further day-by-day as our fathers turn away
And leave us clinging to a mother who eats her own
The granite gaze upon us now
A skulking mass recalling how
To plant a secret and tell no lies
For now we own those same stone eyes
And it's the last gasp of wonder for a cretin on a throne
As our daughter's sneak away across the foam
The future's just a thing we say to keep the sordid past at bay
Still we cling on to the mother who eats her own
We are the ones left behind
In swaddling bound with bailing twine
They stole the marrow from our very bones
And we in turn turned on our own

My hope is to go in peace and that song would help. Or, and really showing my age, If by Bread.
If I am already chilled out and want a couple more endorphins and positivity, Cool like dat' by Diggable Planets.

I would probably listen to something to relax me to lessen anxiety that i feel during the ctb. This music calms me the most:

Also will make me think of my favorite game franchise Little Big Planet as this is used in the 3rd game

midnight lake and the operator cyborg's theme from yume 2kki. i strangely relate to the operator cyborg, and the scenery of the midnight lake makes me think of what i hope my afterlife is like, if one even exists. honestly, i've always hoped that if any afterlife does exist, it's somewhat like yume nikki in the sense where it's all dreamlike and you can visit multiple places based off your memories and leave as you please.

it's kind of cliche, but also perhaps some sort of radiohead song, probably sail to the moon or all i need, those two have always been my favorite.

claire de lune, as well.

Have heard it described as creepy, but I think it's more soothing?
