Wondering what everyone is most afraid of missing out on once you're gone.

Mine is my brother getting married and starting a family, how technology will change in the future and also the last season of my favorite show, better call saul.

I think my biggest FOMO is just life in general, as weird as that sounds. The bad heavily outweighs the good, which is why I want to go, but what about those little good things? A new season of my favorite show? A cool new video game? A beautiful sunset?

For me it is, space travel, we either will go to the stars or we will just have the same fate as the dinosaurs, not ever getting to see some of my bucket list places, too expensive, a lovely sunset over a peaceful ocean and having not be able to meet new global family members. Walter

Mars, art, some series I'm interested in, I guess, although I'm not too heartbroken about not seeing any of it.

That my life might turn around for the better. That maybe a better life is around the corner.

I wish I was terminally ill. At least then I wouldn't have to depend on myself to actually die, or I don't have to go through some horrible event like parents dying or being kicked out which would force me to make that my last day.

it would be disappointing if AGI was only a decade away and all I had to do was survive for 9 more years to have a completely healthy body again.

Would be very unlikely.

For me it's just missing movies/tv shows with my favorite actors. These things help me to escape my horrible reality. I don't care about anything else much. I know I will avoid a lot of pain and suffering though and that is a good thing.

not much to be honest. Since i have an interest in true crime, maybe seeing some cases solved? I've taken an interest in the Missy Bevers and delphi murders cases, they probably wont be solved for a long time (if ever).

I can't enjoy anything anymore, so I know that the rest of my existence will be just pain, heaviness and waking up with panic every morning being disappointed I am still alive.

My fomos are the other way around: Living the rest of my existence without basic social and romantic fulfillment. I feel the future of society and existence for the non-ultra wealthy is very grim. Technological advances are being twisted to further invasive and authoritarian motives instead of bettering humanity as a whole. Everyone is being provoked to fight with each other which makes it all the more harder to be successful in getting friends or finding love. I'd rather end my existence in a time where we still cling to the final vestiges of liberty and sanity than risk existing in an oppressive, dystopian future where I may no longer even have the means to accomplish that act.

I have a whole list of things that I do not want to experience instead. I will miss nothing from this life. Non existence is what I want and it is perfect for me. When you are dead you wont have the ability to miss anything anyway. I don't want to get old, don't want to get more health problems, don't want the burden of having to exist, no more consciousness and awareness of this life.
