Hi everyone!
I am new here and this is my first post.

I want to ctb in a few months and my methods are either full suspension hanging or sn( if I can get my hands on it).

With full suspension hanging, there is something I don't understand.
I know that you are supposed to have a slipknot.
But after you've kicked the chair and when you are dangling from your neck and are struggling for air, what's stopping you from simply untieing the slipknot?
I have put the noose on my neck and the slipknot on the back of my neck while just sitting on my bed and I can easily untie it with both hands from behind my head.
I didn't realize that hanging was about will power or is there something I don't understand here?

The weight of your body puts enough sudden pressure on your neck and carotid arteries to cause you to pass out before you would have chance to do much. Also the weight of your body will tighten the knot making it extremely difficult to untie it yourself irrespective of the fact that you will be unconscious.

It might not be a problem like the above comment says but if you still have doubt them use hangman knot. That's what I plan to use. It seems more reliable.

I would not use a hangmans knot as this is designed to break the neck which can only happen if you drop from a significant height dependent on your body weight. Also it does not tighten easily which could cause a longer and more painful death. A simple slipknot is ideal. I'm pretty sure as long as one reaches full suspension, it would be nearly impossible to untie the noose, assuming they're not already unconscious within seconds.

As mentioned once a person is suspended by their neck, there is little they can do to get out of it. You would not be able to reach up and undo the knot while suspended. You will also lose consciousness very quickly. Unlike movies that have people reach up with their arms to get out of the noose, in real life that does not happen.

The use of a hangman's noose is not a good choice, the noose will not tighten around the neck very well in a short drop and you will slowly choke since it will not get adequate pressure on the carotid or the jugular.

I agree with the others. Once the weight of the body is pulling on the rope, nothing will get it off unless the rope breaks or someone gets you down. I've seen videos of people who've hanged whilst another person is trying to free them, but the weight of their body is too much and they still die.

Thanks to everyone who replied.
I am simply afraid that once I kick the chair away and I can't breath I will untie the slipknot.
I want to make sure that once I kick the chair this is it.

You won't be able to untie the slip knot. You might pull at it, but you'll be unconscious soon enough.

If you read what people are saying here you will understand that your fear is unfounded. Once you are hanging by your neck in a slipknot, you will be unable to do anything to get out, no matter how much SI kicks in. This is why full suspension is so much more reliable than partial.

The noose will tighten the instant your body weight pulls against it, you will pass out within one second and, without third party intervention, be completely brain dead a short while afterwards.

Hangman can also works for suspension hanging (partial or full but its better for full). It might not tighten like slipknot but it can tighten enough to block your carotid arteries.
