He used 100mg Dexofen and 1500mg paracetamol, when it kicked in he started the partial hanging. On page 6 in the thread someone has translated a lot of the conversation on the forum as it happened live.

His suicide note quickly translated by a member on the forum
I'm sitting here now and I'm going to kill myself.
I wonder where I'll end up...
Perhaps life was a test to see how long one can endure?
If I'm reborn I hope atleast I won't be born in this time (and not before either)
or on this planet.
Love my whole family more than anything, but honestly I can't live for someone else's sake...

I don't think my life is bad at all, it's actually really good.
But sometimes it's just too hard.
Can't write any more now.

Good bye :)

Keep in mind the video is timelapsed.

They are it´s very annoying especially all the pro-lifers who are so ignorant about suicide and think they know better than the guy who hang himself, just try and ignore those assholes.

I just thought it would be interesting to show this forum´s members what a partial hanging actually looks like.

Looks like a quick death, but I wonder if he was conscious when his body started thrashing.

Ironic, he was wearing a 'just do it' t-shirt...

I'm glad he's at peace now though.

People on gore sites who comments are usually nasty people. Basically assholes. They have no love or empathy.

The attached essay argues that occlusion of the carotid arteries (by hanging, for example) is unlikely to cause death because the vertebral arteries are highly unlikely to be occluded and thus the brain will not be totally starved of oxygen. Note the in Swedish Guy's partial hanging his face/head suddenly suddenly turns white after a few minutes of extreme redness. Perhaps he never did occlude the carotid? Could it be that during his suicide he had a sudden heart attack that instantly stopped his heart? (The attached essay addresses this phenomenon.) If that's what happened, how likely is that (heart attack) is the primary cause of death for many partial hangings? As opposed to brain death, if that makes sense (brain death being a secondary cause after heart stops beating). What I'm really getting at is: how confident can we be that it is arterial occlusion that causes death in most partial hangings? We see from the postings of many subscribers here that they found it very difficult to achieve much less to sustain arterial occlusion when attempting partial hanging.

i watched an autopsy lecture recently with dr richard stevens, he mentioned that any pressure on the arteries in the neck can often result in an instant heart attack, ive practiced pushin on the arteries in my neck many times to find out exactly where they are and stopped moment before falling unconscious, i kinda like the woooshing feeling as im blacking out, and it never gave me a heart attack, obviously

RE; the video.. was interesting how his head went purple and seconds later completely white. i was thinking maybe during convulsions his position changed and resulted in applying pressure the the veins in the neck? locking all the blood in the head resulting in higher blood pressure there

It's interesting what's going-on with his arms... especially at the beginning when it seems to be "intentional": It almost seems as if he was concentrating on doing some kind of martial arts "form" (like Taekwondo or Tai Chi)...

I wonder: Could that be a way to help circumvent SI? I.e., get your mind completely focused on doing something (a memorized movement) with your arms — and just keep doing that movement... disregarding any other urges that may come-up...?

AFAIK, struggling to raise your arms is a good sign that you're doing it right, as they're the ones that tend to go really quick (this vid is a good example of what I was talking about at the end of this post)
