I'm only 18, yes I sometimes say stupid stuff but people of all ages do, please just give me a break.

I just want to say thanks to the people who have been nice to me. I feel so alone, and you guys genuinely do help.

I think the fact people want to CTB has nothing to do with their rudeness, that's just how it is sometimes but I agree it shouldn't be like that

No I didn't mean people are rude because they want to ctb, I meant that because everyone is literally on the edge I think people could try and be decent towards each other.

Whenever someone is rude, just hit the ignore/block button on their profile. Ive seen only 1 maybe 2 rude people here out of everyone. I'm happy with that ratio personally. It's not everywhere that you can find groups of people who are ok with talking about the things we talk about AND will support you:)

I don't expect people to be overly nice, though it is great that there are so many that are kind. I think while we might have a general understanding of wanting to ctb, many are also in pain and suffering and might not respond in pleasant ways. They might be tired of responding in ways that are convenient for other people much like many of us already have to respond or keep the act that we don't want to ctb so that we don't make those around us feel discomfort or sadness. Some people express a lot of anger, and some is aimed at those around them and some at society. They're likely here to release that energy while also being able to express wanting to ctb. So, just block them.

Hey SS isn't just for mentally ill and the suicidal it's for us rude psychopaths as well, it is surprising we are all suppose to have comparison for each other and you you do read posts which are a bit close to the mark but hey you will always have bullies and rude people where ever you go usually they are the people in life who won't say boo to a ghost in the real World but in the cyber World knowing they can't be tracked they are brave and say mean things but in your you know they are suffering more than you.

My advice, ignore them give them a hug and move on.

They're still people and people suck. Don't assume you've anything in common just because you're both suicidal. It's such a broad thing. Of course I don't know what you consider rude. I tell the truth, they don't like it and then they're rude to me

I am here for you. We all need to be sure to share our kindness because for many of us are on the cusp between life and death. This is supposed to be a safe space so no one feels alone. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience here.

I wouldn't generalize too much though nor let it ruin or taint your experience in this regard. There surely are a few individuals here with rotten personalities and ditto behaviour (not just based on personal aversion but downright anti-social behaviour and opinions) but I think most who post something unpleasant, mean, critical etcetera don't really mean it that way: they're just on edge, having to deal with shit in their lives...

There's always the possibility of ignoring them (there's a separate button for it somewhere) or you could ask them what they mean exactly and/or indicate what they said is inappropriate and hurtful. The goal of this forum is free, honest and respectful communication so that a certain degree of understanding and civility should be the norm.

If you think replies violate the rules there's always the option of reporting them to the mods. In my humble opinion they're doing a great job and are quite effective at enforcing the rules and thus protecting all of us in a way. All hail the mods, past and present!

Never rely on Google, It would be LGBTQ+ we dont say LGBTQI+ because the I is generally included in the +. While the latest more lengthier acronym LGBTTIQQ2SA is favored by some mostly it's just LGBTQ.
