SN water testing

Can someone please simplify how I can test my SN with nitrite / nitrate test sticks?

I dont know if anyone is still watching this thread, but I'd appreciate some help, please?

If I'm using 500ml of water per test (250ml per glass), and I half the amount of SN used - I still transfer the same vol of liquid from glass 1 to glass 2, right?

No, that won't give you the same result.
