I'm practising doing a slip knot and its more complicated than i thought also the hemp rope i bought off ebay is falling apart i think i'll need to go for a mountaineering rope
Well thats not what i was practising that looks like a 'double' skip knot? Should i do a double knot?View attachment 66313
Tighten knot then put the other end of the rope through the loop for an easy sliding slip knot
I think you have to buy a 'static' mountaineering ropeIs mountaineering rope good for hanging or does it stretch too much? I was going to buy some soon and it is quite expensive.
Isn't that rope a bit thin?Well thats not what i was practising that looks like a 'double' skip knot? Should i do a double knot?

By my research the thinner the better 10mm or less, a thicker rope wont cut off the blood supply to the Brain as quick, looking for a 10-30 second blackout if position rope BELOW adams appleIsn't that rope a bit thin?
Where have you seen that the rope should be below the adams apple? Everything I have read says it should be above.By my research the thinner the better 10mm or less, a thicker rope wont cut off the blood supply to the Brain as quick, looking for a 10-30 second blackout if position rope BELOW adams apple
But im now confused do i do a single skip knot or a double?
