For those that have tried partial hanging, have you been able to get over SI? I finally found the perfect position to go unconscious (testing without the full setup, basically just a manual test) but as soon as I feel that I'm going unconscious I release the tightness on the setup. It's like if I were playing the choking game I wouldn't even be able to do it properly. It was really difficult to get it right to begin with because it was easier to compress the jugular. I've found how to compress the carteroid but when the weakness sets in it makes me want to release.

Same. People make me regret almost every day being still alive, it's hard to believe. And yet, when I start doing it, I just somehow stop, as if now were not the right time. It's so absurd. I will probably have to try with alcohol. But it's unclear whether alcohol is really efficient, and it might also increases the risk of messing up and getting brain damage.

Yeah I might try alcohol., its like, there's no pain but a sense of panic. I think it could be possible to bypass eventually but who knows if practice will be needed or some kind of substance.

Update:

I tested this method on a doorknob and was able to start going unconscious (dizzy feeling, weakness, blackening vision), but I wasn't able to actually allow myself to pass out. Some people seem to pass out quickly but it's going to take me at least the 10 seconds if not more.

Another thread said to use handcuffs for this but that doesn't work for partial at all obviously as you can simply stand up if you're close enough to the ground. Conclusion: This method COULD easily kill me if I were able to go through with the "vertigo" as it were. However, SI continues to get in the way.

I mean, do you feel dizzy but then you can't pass out? Do you find the sensation annoying?

I guess the sensation of dizziness if "annoying, in that before blackout SI kicks in. Just like, the desire to relieve myself of the dizziness even though it's not painful.
