I think exhaustive prayer makes it easier to overcome SI. I think SI is a tiny voice in your head saying "what if?".
If you've literally done everything in your power to make your life work.....
....AND you've done lots of praying.
....then it becomes a more peaceful decision at the end. You've literally done everything in your power.
I busted my butt to put my life together (full-time work...full-time school....lot of other stuff). Deep state jumps out of the bushes and burns my life to the ground. I've got nothing left, so I spend YEARS praying. Still, God lets the deep state continue to hurt me.
Like my roommate said, "it's ALWAYS going to be something".
When neither you nor God can make your life bearable, I believe the SI goes to zero. Pretty trivial decision really.
Thoughts?
