Not a CTB method, but a method to make myself more drowsy during CTB. I don't have much access to methods, but I may try a night-night+ligature strangulation mixture or even hanging. Still doing research, though, so any links to important threads are helpful.

But I know I'm unlikely to be able to do this without having anything to calm me since my adrenaline runs high (like heart palpitations high...)

I am prescribed 10 mg Cetirizine a day. I've heard that taking 20 mg is unlikely to damage your liver, but likely to increase symptoms like drowsiness and fatigue. I also know that alcohol does the same thing, and now that I'm 21 I can access alcohol (my mom offered to buy me some low percentage wine cocktail stuff).

Zyrtec usually takes about 30-60 minutes to kick in, as I've heard, but does alcohol speed up the symptoms? Even a small amount of it? Does anyone here have experience with this?

Would it perhaps be good to take the pills and/or drink, then set up my method not too long before it's supposed to kick in (set up at 15 minutes if it kicks in at 30 for example), and the wait until I'm drowsy to execute it?

Hanging can have a margin on error, but if I set it up when I'm lucid, the meds should simply make it easier to "drop" myself... right? And for ligature/night-night I'd just nedd to pull it tight...

There are no drug interactions. Do you already feel drowsy from your normal dose of cetirizine? Only 1/7 people do.

If you have access to other OTC drugs, maybe consider diphenhydramine instead. Idk how drowsy cetirizine makes you, but drowsiness is such a well documented and consistent side effect of DPH that it's occasionally used off-label for sleep.

No drug interactions for what? Because Zyrtec absolutely can react with alcohol, if that's what you mean.

I can't tell if Zyrtec makes me drowsy, as I have chronic fatigue.

Unfortunately I don't currently.
