I ordered my SN but don't have a scale and there is no way I can get one. I know using a tablespoon isn't accurate, but I have no choice but to try and make it work. I asked chatgpt how many tablespoons I'd need to equal 25 grams of SN and it said this:

Sodium nitrite has a density of about 2.16 grams per milliliter. Since 1 tablespoon is approximately 15 milliliters, 1 tablespoon of sodium nitrite weighs around 32.4 grams.

To convert 25 grams of sodium nitrite to tablespoons:

25 grams ÷ 32.4 grams per tablespoon ≈ 0.77 tablespoons.

So, about 0.77 tablespoons of sodium nitrite is equal to 25 grams.

Idk how accurate this is though. Does anyone know of anyway other way to measure it out accurately without a scale?? Any input would be monumentally appreciated.
I'm unfortunately in a position where I really can't.

There's a table in the SN Bible and it estimates 13g = 0.7 Tablespoons. That's far too inaccurate.

I do not recommend this bc it's also inaccurate in practice. You can calculate a cube that can be filled with 25g SN. All you need is the density - you have that info from ChatGPT. You can then make that cube with paper and glue.

Warning: This is still inaccurate in practice although the cube is calculated correctly!

I once tried this with table salt bc table salt (NaCl) and SN have almost the same density.

I don't know how much you ordered, but if for example you had 100g try dividing it into 4 equal portions.

buy a kitchen scale in anyyyyy supermarket (and if u live w parents, some baking stuff, maybe a pre-made box mix and eggs, not a lot and say u wanna start w baking, also buy frosting stuff n pipes so u can say u wanna learn how to pipe and do cake designs like forest cakes etc, simple stuff. - they will prolly be happy)
and if u cant,
divide it into 9 equal pieces.
get 1 piece out.
divide into 4.
