That said, it would really really really suck if another year goes on and a major Sonic game fails to even procure a single award, especially one as good as Sonic x Shadow Generations. The Shadow Generations part is so peak. I think it's even on sale for some systems so go see for yourself. I think it's so unfair that it hasn't received a single nomination in any category except for the Player's Voice Award.

So please. Please for the love of god go and vote for Sonic x Shadow Generations for me. Please. I am begging. I know whoever you are it may not be your type of game but I promise you that whatever game you like more from this year has already been nominated for plenty of other more important categories while Shadow has nothing. I really don't want to see a repeat of 2022 when Sonic Frontiers lost to Genshin Impact, a game that released in 2020. Even if you like that game, you have got to admit that it's incredibly unjust for it to even be up in the running. Especially since it only won because the devs basically bribed their users with rewards that apparently weren't even all that good anymore.

Please please please please please.

Well. Sonic x Shadow Generations got eliminated round 1. Incredibly sad news because it means I'm right that my taste in video games is actual ass according to other gamers. Fucking Palworld? Really?

Good news is I have a great excuse to CTB now. I think I'll make this the prime motivator in my suicide note and maybe now everyone will think my death had more to do with this instead of all my other issues.

why do you care about others' opinions anyways? I mean, I used to want the things and characters I liked the most to win polls as well, but in the end, it's neat for the thing you like to be uniquely yours, even if not recognized by everyone else~ :) ofc, it unfortunately hampers socialization, but it's not like the voting itself is what did that~

Like I said, it's just a convenient excuse to bolster my CTB. Knowing that my tastes aren't shared by many does hurt a little but what hurts more is knowing that I don't even click with the people who do like the same things I do.

But in general, this list is specific to me, because I also don't know anything about Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, Metaphor:Refantazio.

The most interesting thing for me is that Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree is included in the vote, because it's not a separate game.

He possibly has a girlfriend but the child is a hoax thank god. Anyways its a popularity contest with the demographic of voters being a mass of gamers... Never thought that would to any quality. anyways out of all games in round two metaphor is probably the closest to deserving that award (But still feels like a persona game with a fantasy coat of paint atleast so far) Palworld is actual dog shit
