If I sleep too much i get thrown in a cycle of imagining things that I would like to happen and things that I wish happened earlier. I also dream about some beautiful things and i just get really sad when I wake up. I love sleeping, but not that much tbh. If i keep my mind occupied during the day and not thing about my troubles I consider it a good day.

I just slept for almost the entire day today, woke up at the morning, ended sleeping again and woke up now. The way things are going, I think I will end up sleeping again.

I can sleep about 12 hours in one go and then get tired again four hours later. I'm probably deficient in almost every vitamin though. I love sleeping although sometimes my reality becomes lucid dreams when I'm sleeping so I can't always escape with sleep.

I drug myself to try and sleep the day away. Not the best coping skill, but oh well.

I eat food which contain little to no nutrients and I barely get any fresh air. Reckon that contributes to my 12 hour sleep haha but not completely sure.

Same. Also having b12 defiency helps it makes you feel exhausted 24/7.

Amitriptyline helps as well. I can sleep up to 24 hours sometimes.

I've never been in amitriptyline but it sounds similar to how lithium made me feel. I could barely keep my eyes open.

nah I have Netflix, Amazon prime and now tv. I do feel isolated but I'm recovering from a serious back stabbing from a whole bunch of people Who I depended on. Now I'm proper isolating myself so that I can learn to be emotionally independent. It's kind of liberating but sad at the same time.

Yes ami makes you drowsy. Supposed to be for pain relief but doesn't take any of my pain away.

I sleep about 12 hours a night. I take Seroquel at bedtime. I've had weird sleeping problems most of my life.

Yup I sleep for most of the day, I get up to go pee and do a few chores but mostly sleep. Plus I use drugs to sleep... but I hate the feeling of oversleeping it makes my back ache. I put vicks vaporub on my eyelids and temples, and extra strength red balm (similar to tiger balm) on my back, feels amazing. I don't like the numb feeling from over sleeping. I sleep only on my back and don't move, I used to be normal and toss and turn, but since my health issues it's harder now. Sleep is my only refuge. I also wear a eye mask and noise canceling ear buds, it sucks now my ears are itchy and dry... fuck life just has to ruin the only thing good - sleep! My ears are blocked now but it's nice to get a break from sharp noises, I'm a highly sensitive person.

Why the vaporub on the eyelids?

I used to sleep really early on the weekends between 4-6pm because my circadian rhythm rouses me at like 7am. Now I can hardly sleep

Yes I sleep 10 to 11 hrs in the night and 2 hrs in the afternoon (due to lockdown i am at home whole day) but at nights I take some cough syrup to help me sleep though. The longer I m awake the worse my suicidal thoughts get n I get more depressed.

Similar to I screwed up I sleep 12 hours a night but every waking hour is consumed by suicidal thoughts that plunge me further into a depressed state. Just wish I could sleep forever then I could rest

I sleep for 10-12 hours a day no matter what I do. it's the olanzapine that makes me sleep this much. kinda glad that I get to sleep this much and get away from life. still, I feel really unproductive sleeping this much and may never get to land a good job cos I need to sleep all the time.

Slept almost 11 hours yesterday. IBeen sleeping too much this week. More than usual. I know this could be related to a mental disorder such as depression.

I sleep 13-14 hours a day. I much prefer sleep to the living nightmare of being awake. I wish I could just lay down and sleep forever.

I feel like if I could force my body to sleep for more hours of the day, life would be much more bearable. Sleep is all I look forward to. Unfortunately sometimes I struggle to sleep instead. I did have a phase a few months ago where I slept a lot more.

a few months ago I swallowed sleeping pills in the morning when I woke up to fall asleep again, to escape reality sleep is an excellent palliative, but this can have harmful consequences in the long term, refuge in sleep is a very distinctive sign of depression
