Opinions on ssris?

Just wondering what side effects people have experienced, since that seems to be a common talking point here.

Personally, I've been on various antidepressants including SSRIs like Prozac, Zoloft, Lexapro, etc., since I was 11. SSRIs have actually been relatively helpful for me, although they sort of flattened my mood and my ED told me they'd make me fat so I stopped taking them. I have, however known people who've had severe side effects, including a hospitalization for vomiting and fainting.

SSRIs always fuck me up one way or another, usually either by pushing me into a severe state of constant mania/anxiety or by making me a dissociative drooling zombie. Both are extremely unpleasant to me
