Does anyone know exactly how many litres of compressed nitrogen gas a 2 litre cylinder contains? Thanks

Thanks, would a 2L cylinder @ 200 BAR be adequate? I´m starting to reconsider whether my cylinder is large enough?400l uncompressed when compressed with 200 bar
It is almost guaranteed to work; you are just under the 30min threshold, i.e., 15LPM x 27min. Just make sure that you are not shortchanging yourself with a pressure level lower than 200bar.Thanks, would a 2L cylinder @ 200 BAR be adequate? I´m starting to reconsider whether my cylinder is large enough?
Would it not be better to just purchase a larger cylinder?I consider to use 2x2l bottles at the same time but have concerns, that the two tubes make a big gap at the bag.
Does anybody know about a "cascade effect" when using more than one bottle?
Please elaborate on what you mean by "cascade effect;" are you referring to cascade filling?Would it not be better to just purchase a larger cylinder?
TiredHorse wrote about a cascade system, necessary for small cylinders. Please elaborate on what you mean by "cascade effect;" are you referring to cascade filling?
You need a bare minimum of 600L of inert gas (argon, nitrogen or helium) --40 minutes of flow at 15Lpm-- which translates into a 20cf cylinder. Stacking small cylinders into a cascade system is technically challenging, so probably not something you want to mess with.
Do you think, this is a problem - 2 cylinders with 2l together ?Thank you! Yes, it looks like he was referring to the serial configuration of cylinders.
It is not a problem; it just requires that you purchase a T-junction connector.Do you think, this is a problem - 2 cylinders with 2l together ?
Yes, my cylinder is 2L.Sure, but I have a vendor for 2l and it's small, lightweight and inconspicuous.
Do you have a 2l cylinder ?
That´s what I thought. The final exit book recommends purchasing the smaller cylinder.Exactly zero percent of people will still be alive after 27 minutes in a zero oxygen environment.
Do you think there is a cascade effect with two 2l cylinders ? What are the impacts ?Thank you! Yes, it looks like he was referring to the serial configuration of cylinders.
As long as its 99.0% pure--Call them and ask them the exact percentageI bought 18CF food grade nitrogen, which is 98% to 99.5% pure, instead of pure nitrogen. I would have to open an account with the welding supply store to buy pure nitrogen since it is a "specialty gas." I would also have to rent the tank, whichI don't want to do. So I am hoping food grade will be sufficient. Is food grade nitrogen sufficient?
Thanks. Yes, I confirmed with the supplier that it is 99% pure.As long as its 99.0% pure--Call them and ask them the exact percentage
